The three-masted barque Le Français has confirmed its arrival at Fécamp Grand'Escale 2022. The French is a three-masted barque with a wooden hull, built in Denmark in 1948, for the Royal Greenland Trading Company, renovated in 1983 for the needs of the cinema. The Kaskelot was bought in September 2018 by Bob Escoffier and was renamed Le Français as the former three-masted schooner of the First Charcot Polar Expedition (1903-1905). Its home port is Saint Malo.
