The BELEM, one of the jewels of European maritime heritage, present at Fécamp Grand'Escale 2022.
- The magnificent three-masted BELEM will participate in Fécamp Grand'Escale in 2022
It is a great honor to welcome the Belem to Fécamp for Fécamp Grand'Escale 2022.
The Belem built in Nantes in the Dubigeon shipyards in 1896 is the last French three-masted barque with a square lighthouse with a steel hull. She is the last of the 19th century French merchant tall ships still sailing and one of the oldest three masts in Europe. It is one of the emblematic sailing ships of the French maritime heritage. Belem has been classified as a historical monument since February 27, 1984.
It belongs to the Belem foundation The Belem will be present at Fécamp Grand'Escale 2022 from June 29 to July 3, 2022, it will be open to the public.
